The Research Triangle (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill) has large commercial and institutional buildings. Data centers, university facilities, biotech labs. These buildings run complex electrical distribution systems and HVAC plants that need regular IR surveys to catch problems before they shut down operations.

North Carolina's mountain region and coast are two different worlds for IR work. In the mountains (Asheville, Boone, Hendersonville), winter temperatures drop enough to expose every insulation void, thermal bridge, and air leak in a building envelope. Heating season is the best time to scan up there.

The coast from Wilmington to the Outer Banks takes hurricane and nor'easter damage. Post-storm moisture assessment is the same work we do in Florida: IR to find trapped water in roof and wall assemblies that look intact on the surface.
